Short Biography Of Jane Peters D Goddess 


Jane Peters  is a born Sierra Leonean Singer, Song Writer, an Instrumentalist and Activist. Jane Peters  Was born and raised in Sierra Leone but she has travelled to so many countries in Europe, Asia, America and Africa.

She studied music for about 3 years at the Balanta Academy of Music in correspondence with the royal school of music in UK and came out as one of Sierra Leone’s most successful singer. Her wealth of experience in music made her explore different genres of music from classical, Jazz, pop, Afro to typical Sierra Leone Traditional song through life performances.

Jane Peters is a founding member and the very first lead singer for the first Balanta Jazz band.

15 years of his death:  Legend Amara Kabba's legacy lives on Last Friday [22nd June] marked exactly 15 years since he departed this world. But Amara Shain Kabba, one of Sierra Leone’s all-time best musicians, left an indelible mark on the West African reggae scene hitting platinum in 2003 with what is perhaps his best album, ‘Confront It’. Sierra Leone’s leading music superstar, Alhaji Bankaria Bah commonly known as King Boss LA (LAJ), on Wednesday 11 July 2018 officially signed a contract with the country’s leading mobile operator, Africell, to serve as its newest Brand Ambassador for an initial period of one year. The ceremony which attracted some members of the press and staff of the company, took place at Africell headquarters at Wilberforce in Freetown, chaired by John Konte, Manager for AiRadio and also Public Relations Officer of Africell. Fatima Bio is a force. I am fascinated by her in as much as I fear for her. Sierra Leone dances on the fringes of progressive democratic principles yet clearly panders to a paternalistic approach to governance where notions of civic autonomy, agency, empowerment and gender equity are severely loose ideologies. Ideologies, we enjoy picking up from time to time, off the mantle of global pressure, to engage with.
