               SHORT BIOGRAPHY

Manager AB Thoronka is a Sierra Leonean born, in the northern part of Sierra Leone on the 7th April 1995. Started his primary school at lawab Boyd school at Murray town then join Beheshti Jnr Secondary school Murray Town, where he sat his bece exams in the year 2009 and later gained an admission at the st Edwards Sec. School May park Kingtom where he sat his wassce exams in 2012. AB now is a blogger, a promoter, and a manager for BRM and also the manager one of the fastest growing entertainment website in SL known as SaloneMusic dot net. AB started his career as an artist manager with his own record label in 2016, and now he is one of the biggest promoter in the SL entertainment industry.

Fatima Bio is a force. I am fascinated by her in as much as I fear for her. Sierra Leone dances on the fringes of progressive democratic principles yet clearly panders to a paternalistic approach to governance where notions of civic autonomy, agency, empowerment and gender equity are severely loose ideologies. Ideologies, we enjoy picking up from time to time, off the mantle of global pressure, to engage with. Despite the immense efforts of local activists and a handful of civil servants who still believe in working for the greater social good, calls for strengthened public institutions, deepened commitment to eradicate extreme poverty and of course, my personal favorite, a push for gender equality as the basis for true economic and social transformation, remain unanswered.  Our country almost always halfheartedly responds to these demands and needs.  It is from this struggle that the emergence of  Fatima Bio  is unequivocally disruptive to the status quo.  Let me tell you why.

King Boss LA, Africell’s Newest Brand Ambassador

Sierra Leone’s leading music superstar, Alhaji Bankaria Bah commonly known as King Boss LA (LAJ), on Wednesday 11 July 2018 officially signed a contract with the country’s leading mobile operator, Africell, to serve as its newest Brand Ambassador for an initial period of one year. The ceremony which attracted some members of the press and staff of the company, took place at Africell headquarters at Wilberforce in Freetown, chaired by John Konte, Manager for AiRadio and also Public Relations Officer of Africell. Welcoming guests present at the meeting John Konte expressed satisfaction to all for gracing the occasion.
