Jake was born on July 13 at the long bench hospital calabatown, he was single parent raise by his very strict and educated Father who is a senior lecturer at the Milton Margai college of education and technology which make it difficult for Jake to concentrate in music, he has 2 sisters and a late brother who passed away in 2015 mom and dad are divorced. He attended the St Edwards primary and secondary school respectively and presently a final year student at the Milton Margai college of education and technology.

Jake started music when his family relocated from the eastern part of Freetown to the western area where  he hook upwith couple of friends Papie and J tall and form a rap group know as Rap hood, and they started by freestying on carnivals and publicities. In 2010 dae recorded their first song with Sam x at total records since then Jake was spotted instantly for his lyrical ability, papie and J tall relocated to makeni and Jake was left on his own and so he started participating in Rap competitions for his community in 2012 in which he won his first ever rap battle competition and bring glory home to the red pump community a competition in which he was spotted by renoun music producer Jada vizzle and he was crown king of the underground he went to win several mores in both radio and street battles and he has never lost not a single battle... His fame started spreading in the streets and he was spotted by Babs the elder brother of Teteh of catthouse records who introduced him to Teteh he went through the audition and he passed and get sign to Catthouse records in 2013 where he met label mates like Teddy Mac Xzu b and Lil Maq..by this time Jake has extended his Rap hood group from a group to a record label where he signed Hyper K Rida Sumaj and wisdom...He record his first proffesional track with  catthouse in 2013 with Rap hood label mate K Rida who passed on the 6months after that due to illness, he went on to record two more tracks with catthouse NOR WELL O and FINALE, but at this time the catthouse label was having issues with LAJ so Teteh have to returned to America giving up on music leaving his artists with no access to record

In 2015 he hooked up with a DJ friend in the Red pump community Oral who decided to open a studio and learn to produce in other to help promote Jake's talent so they work together and open the EMS records in which he was the only artist there he instantly made a break through with a song title DIS DAYS addressing issues of things going on by then his name started growing higher in the Hip Hop world he went on to release more rap songs like PERFECT CHICK, BADMAN DAE CRASE FT EDDIE 441, LEH DEN LEF WE BO FT PM DE PLAYER

in the same year pm de player featured Jake in his first big featuring a song title Sweet sweet love a song which create a huge impact in the country by then.. In 2016 he hook up with Kracktwist and Samza who have heard about Jake alot and have met in cyphers during their time with WAF ent and BTC dae hook up and recorded a song title E too lek SHEWN SHEWN a song which become  a hit in the country and he recommended them to oral where they record WARNING AND FLING HAND DANCE

In the same 2016 Jake stage his first show in the release of his 12tracks Debute album title WHALAAA album because of the slang he introduced in every song which later became popular and used in social medias the show was a huge success as fans full up the whole Globe cinema to see Jake on stage

In 2017 he went on to release more songs that creates impact in the game

In December 2017 he was approached for a deal with ACTIVIST MOVEMENTS by Hafiz the owner who based in Australia he finally agreed and sign with them in January 2018 he went on to release more songs like

he also released his first video song title Nor be ever know Feat Pm now pizzy and also the video of U sabi am a song in which Jake was featured in which create a huge impact in the country... Due to fans special requests to see Jake he decided to to stage a show and released his Extended playlist (EP)  at the miatta conference hall on April 20 2018 a show which was graced by many supporters it was a very professional and successful show as all SL top notch stars turn up to support Jake

In June he released a song title HIP HOP featuring his formal boss  Teteh who made his come back on that song and the song create a huge controversy on social medias as agurable Jake was dobbed as the New generation king (NGK) by many fans and top Djs in the country as the best new rapper in the Music Industry and he accepted  the title and presently using it as his nickname
