Buffon in Paris to be presented as PSG player on Monday

Italian goalkeeper icon Gianluigi Buffon has arrived in Paris where he is to sign for Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain and be officially presented on Monday, according to news reports.


Sport daily L'Equipe and Le Parisien paper said Friday that the 40-year-old Buffon would undergo the mandatory medical and then sign the contract before the presentation. A L'Equipe journalist also tweeted pictures of Buffon's arrival.

PSG, who have a new coach in German Thomas Tuchel, were yet to confirm the reports.

The former Italy goalkeeper and 2006 World Cup winner Buffon left Italian champions Juventus after 17 years following the past season.

Sierra Leone’s leading music superstar, Alhaji Bankaria Bah commonly known as King Boss LA (LAJ), on Wednesday 11 July 2018 officially signed a contract with the country’s leading mobile operator, Africell, to serve as its newest Brand Ambassador for an initial period of one year.
