Muslera commits one of World Cup's biggest errors

After conceding an embarrassing goal against France in the World Cup, Uruguay goalkeeper, Fernando Muslera, became an involuntary villain for his team.

During their World Cup quarter-final showdown against Les Bleus and with the score at 1-0 to the opposition, the Galatasaray man gifted the French the vital second goal.

In the 61st minute, Antoine Griezmann sent a tame effort straight at Muslera, who fluffed his lines and inadvertently sent the ball spinning back into his own net.

That strike took the wind out of Uruguay's sails and they went on to be beaten 2-0.
